  1. The maximum number of VCs that can be configured for Series 300/400
  2. machines with a DIO backplane is 32/card.  If a packet size of 256 bytes is
  3. configured, the maximum number of VCs is 16/card.  If the fast select
  4. facility is enabled, the maximum number of VCs is 16/card.

  6. The maximum number of VCs that can be configured for Series 800 machines
  7. with a CIO (Mid-Bus) backplane is 64/card.  The maximum number of VCs that
  8. can be configured for Series 800 machines with an NIO backplane is 256/card.

  11. with an EISA backplane is 256/card.
